"I was perplexed as people walked down the street when it rained in Bergen, Norway. I never saw their faces. Their umbrellas hid their trunks and almost magically they avoided me so we wouldn't crash. We were aware of each other's presence, the path we followed and the decisions we made without ever meeting the eyes. I look for the unknown person's gaze and recognition of my presence and this situation was so strange to me."
